How to test IBM Storwize V7000 Storage control unit
We test many machines daily before putting them in stock. One of them is the IBM Storwize V7000 Storage Control Unit (2076-124), which our technician in the video shows how to test yourself with these 7 easy steps.
In the video we show the following steps:
Step 1
Power on the machine, and connect the ethernet cable.
Step 2
Configure the computer’s IPs.
Step 3
Use initTool to change the machine’s IP – For this test, we use the V7000 initTool. The tool can be downloaded at the IBM website.
Step 4
Ping IP address.
Step 5
If the login information is unknown, you can reset the password using initTool.
