Which countries can you ship to?
We can deliver batteries to all countries, either using the courrier network, or more specialized shipping solutions. Using the ordinary courrier network we can currently deliver to 168 countries – however the list of countries changes frequently, depending on local regulations, availability and policy changes at our shipping partners. To avoid any wrong information, we do not list the specific countries, as the information can quickly become outdated.
Why is shipping batteries so expensive?
There are lots of regulations regarding the shipping of batteries – not only does it require extra paper work, labeling of shipments, and set specific requirements for the packaging.
It also set requirements for certification of the staff handling the shipment – on top of this, the courrier networks have additional fees on top of the normal shipping cost, this all sums up to the additional shipping charges.
Does it take additional time to ship batteries?
Usually, there is not. However, there can be a higher chance of delays on them, due to capacity regulations, as well as inspection needs, but in general the delivery time is expected to be the same.
Are there any additional restrictions regarding shipping batteries that I should be aware of?
The full IATA battery guidelines take up, hundreds of pages, so writing all of them would not be feasible – there are restrictions regarding weight and amount of batteries, as well delivery countries, but most orders are not impacted by this. We always encourage you to reach out before buying batteries to have everything confirmed beforehand, else we will inform you after receiving your order.
