Data Destruction

To guarantee complete data security, we conduct stringent data destruction on all retired or surplus devices. Our processes are designed to comply with the strictest industry standards, including NIST 800-88r1, and we use world-leading software to ensure that all data is 100% irretrievably erased. Inside Systems uses Certus Erasure Software for data wiping, including 45 different methods as per NIST 800-88r1. For physical destruction, we have a MAX E GUARD shredder, which can be adjusted down to 1mm shredding, meeting NSA requirements.

Our carefully controlled technicians use both certified software and physical destruction methods, such as shredding and degaussing, to guarantee that no data can be recovered. These methods are particularly important when digital deletion is insufficient or impossible, ensuring the highest standards of data security.

Only the devices that meet our strict quality requirements are prepared for further use. The refurbished assets are securely packed and delivered with an Inside Systems warranty.

Recycling and Remarketing

Devices that meet our strict quality requirements are prepared for remarketing. We ensure that these devices are properly packed and delivered to the market with a warranty matching their utility value. This helps reduce the need for new resources and fully exploits existing technology.

When devices are not suitable for further use, we handle recycling with great care. We carefully sort the equipment into more than 10 different fragments to ensure that each material is processed correctly. We work exclusively with trusted downstream vendors that we have carefully selected and monitor to ensure that the entire recycling process meets the highest standards of environmental responsibility. We maintain traceability of the material all the way to the final processing plant, and nothing ends up in landfills.
